Kastler Construction Inc. is proud to be the recipient of a 2017 Detroit Home Design Award presented by Detroit Home Magazine. The award was received in the category of Outdoor Kitchen.
Our Bloomfield Hills clients were seeking to create an outdoor entertaining space to match the extensive renovations that our team completed on the inside and outside of the home. The entire patio was custom-designed to incorporate a kitchen, cabana, fire pit, and plenty of room for socializing in between each space. The custom outdoor kitchen includes quartz countertops, a 48-inch Viking grill, gas cook top, and beverage center with icemaker. Special design attention was paid to the cabana and pergola to complement the design of the home. Both have a metal roof and the cabana has a beautiful bead board underside. The raised, walkout cabana includes a large television, commercial heating, and oscillating fans to make guests comfortable in any kind of weather.
The entire outdoor area is pulled together as a cohesive space with a bluestone patio under foot, and includes an 800,000 BTU bluestone gas fire pit with a cozy space for conversation and warmth on cool evenings.
